Air and Acoustic Consultants is the combination of over 30 years of working experience within the environmental sector.

This combination brings together a variety of knowledge and experience including Research, Public Sector Environmental Protection, Private Sector Environmental and Transport Consultancy.

Our professional services include the assessment of air quality, noise and vibration with a primary emphasis on development planning and supporting our clients through the planning process. To complement this we also have extensive experience in the following services: Monitoring of both air pollution and noise, neighbourly matters, noise nuisance, permitting and expert witness.

THE TEAM

David and Simon have worked together since 2013 and in 2018 set up Air and Acoustic Consultants Ltd, to deliver high quality environmental consultancy services specialising in noise, vibration and air quality assessments.

Air and Acoustic Consultants Ltd has a full in-house monitoring capability and extensive knowledge and experience in the leading environmental modelling software including the ADMS, Air Pollution Dispersion Model, and also the CadnaA noise propagation model.

David is a Chartered Environmentalist, a full voting member of both the Institute of Acoustics and the Institute of Air Quality Management, combining over 12 years’ public sector experience within Environmental Health and Environmental Protection before gaining extensive experience delivering environmental assessments and managing multidisciplinary teams within the private sector.

Simon is a full voting member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and has extensive experience of working within the private sector delivering environmental assessments, with further experience in Transport Planning and Town and Country Planning.

DAVID FRISBY
Transport Director

David has over twenty years professional experience of working within the private sector; his specialist expertise includes transport impact studies for new development proposals.

Ben Bryan
Senior Acoustic Consultant

Ben joined AAC in 2021. He has over four years’ experience working on a wide range of noise and vibration projects for planning and infrastructure / construction projects throughout the UK.

Connor Wilkinson
Air Quality Consultant

Connor joined AAC in 2020. Connor has experience working on a wide range of Air Quality, Odour and Dust projects in the construction, manufacturing and extractive industries. Connor also has experience carrying Occupational Exposure and Indoor Air Quality Assessments.

Matthew Park
Graduate Air Quality Consultant

Matthew joined AAC in 2022 and is currently studying the MSc in Air Quality Management and Control at the University of Birmingham, and has joined us initially on a part time basis while he completes his studies.
